Die Hard 4.0
I don’t think I could still remember the old Die Hard movies. If ever I did watch one. It’s been 12 years since the last movie and I was still in Grade Six then. While watching the movie last night, it’s hard to believe Bruce Willis is already 52 year-old bald guy who has the power to kick bad-ass.
I practically begged Nico so we could watch this one. I guess the testosterone in me is still kicking in from watching the Transformers the other day. (FYI, every female has a minimal degree of testosterone level in her body. Likewise, males have a minimum level of estrogen inside their bodies.)
On the Fourth of July, modern day terrorist attack on America.But no building or planes were bombed.Instead,using their evil cyber knowledge,they shut down the nation.
Bruce, in his portrayal of John McClane in this movie was so endearing. As a father, whose daughter was kidnapped by modern day terrorists bent on bringing down America to its knees, we could see he’s relentless in pursuing the bad guys. As he said so himself, he’s not a hero. He’s just the guy who had to do it. And sure enough, the old-school type of trashing down the bad guys while grasping what’s happening in the uber cyberspace attack was fun to watch. Meanwhile, Justin Long’s performance as Matthew Ferrell who became John’s sidekick was great as well. He delivered the right punch lines without looking like an a**hole.Nerdy computer hacker who’s accidentally became John McClane’s assistant. The writer’s a genius!
John McClane’s tough persona gets shot by assassins, a chopper, a hot-looking Asian lady, a fighter jet while in pursuit of the bad guys who has his daughter. He managed to look like hell without being buried in it.
The movie may seem have gone over the top with all the explosions and car chasing scenes, but at least it satisfied the longtime fans of the franchise. Die Hard 4.0, which has an original title Live Free or Die Hard lives up to its title. Yipee-ka-yay!

You have to, you feel; when she’s such a bright and precocious child, surely she’d ace everything at that class if only she would try a little bit, and not be so attentive to everything outside the classroom window (if it has a window).

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
